A Moment in Time (2022-Present)

A Moment in Time is a living archive—an intimate, ongoing portrait series that captures more than just a face. It captures the stories, frequency, and presence of each subject, distilling identity into a single, still moment. These portraits aren’t about likeness, but essence; they honor the sacred intersection where truth, vulnerability, and legacy meet. Through texture, gaze, and gesture, I offer portraiture not rooted in vanity, but in reverence; a celebration of being. Each image serves as a visual reminder that every breath, every pause, every presence… is fleeting, yet unforgettable.

This triptych is a profound exploration of the rediscovery of self, capturing the painful yet empowering journey through life’s darkest moments. It delves into the raw struggles of trauma, addiction, heartbreak, and depression, with each panel acting as a visual manifestation of the inner turmoil that shapes us. Contrasted Dialogues (2020-Present)

An exploration of conversation through the powerful simplicity of black and white. In this ongoing collection, the tension between shadow and light, positive and negative, creates a visual language that speaks volumes without uttering a word. Each piece in this series is narrative-driven, an exchange between contrasting elements that compels the viewer to engage with the nuances of silence. The absence of color allows the narrative to unfold through lines, marks, and textures, pushing the boundaries of what is said versus what is left unsaid. Contrasted Dialogues is a continual investigation into how contrast can spark conversation, inviting viewers into a space.

BE-Ing (2018 - Present)

This ongoing series is an exploration of the playful, unpredictable spirit of creativity. Untethered from my traditional form, this collection challenges the illusion of perfection and instead celebrates the raw joy of experimentation. These works don’t follow a fixed narrative, they thrive in their fluidity. Prioritizing form over formula, texture over technique, and intuition over intention, each piece invites you into a space where spontaneity leads the way. Re-imagining creativity not as a destination, but as an ever-evolving journey. It’s about rediscovering the youthful curiosity of making for the sake of making, without rules, without borders, and without the pressure to explain.
